10/01/2024 HI ALL, HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST BLOG ON THE NEW YEAR. We have had a hectic time over the festive period and are still trying to catch up. This is why the blog has taken so long to update; so quickly in brief, we have some top news to share with you over the next few weeks, but firstly, we can tell you about two new arrivals in the spring of this year. Firstly, the launch today from Lapua and their new.300 WSM cases are being available this spring. Secondly, match primers are arriving with us at the end of January/ early Feb. If you have yet, get your name down, as these will go fast. More news to follow in the next few days.......stay tuned
06/12/2023 Please note the following Christmas opening hours for our shop. The shop will close at around 4pm on Friday, 22nd December and will reopen on Wednesday, 27th December with normal hours. On Monday, 1st January 2024, the shop will be closed all day and will return to normal hours on Tuesday, 2nd January. Our phone lines and website will remain open as usual throughout the period, from 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week.

13/11-2023 NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH The all-new KM 3 in 1 premium carbide primer pocket correction tool. This will uniform the primer pocket and chamfer the flash hole for a more even burn. Lastly, it will chamfer military-style primer pockets with a crimp. More can be seen here. These are on preorder only at the moment, as we have a fair few on order already.

31/10/2023 Price confirmation for Redding CUSTOM Type S Bushing Small Base Full length Die in .300 WSM £410 per die plus bushing. These will be a large series die, meaning they will be a 1"-14 thread size, not the standard 7/8-14, so you must check that part. These are not cheap dies, but we have to pay for engineering on each die as well by Redding, pushing the price up. Anyway, we are taking orders now; if we can get a dozen or more, the price should drop by 5-10%. These will be here hopefully before Christmas, and we will need a deposit on ordering.

Winchester StaBALL Match is a temperature-insensitive, double-base Ball Powder, stable in extreme hot or -cold conditions. This powder provides optimal loading density in cartridges appropriate for the burn speed, which is ideal for high-BC heavy calibre bullets in 223 Remington, 224 Valkyrie, 22-250 Remington, 308 Winchester, 30-06 and many more.
Typical of a Ball powder, precise metering contributes to consistent velocity and pressure with lower standard deviations, ingredients that are paramount to match grade accuracy! This REACH-compliant, “environmentally green” propellant has copper fouling reducer additives, contributing to shooting sessions without cleaning the bore. Depending on the cartridge, velocity levels are 50-75fps greater than other fuels in its class. Thus, the StaBALL family provides Stability, Precision and Speed. 20/04/2023 Quick primer update. All Federal small rifles are now sold!! Possibly a few more next week, but I'm unsure until they arrive. I am currently taking pre-orders ( no payment needed yet ) on a large delivery of Magtech Std large rifle primers coming in the Autumn. Price has slightly risen to £75 per 1000

New Winchester powders are arriving in the UK this summer; we have decent orders with importers, so we should be able to cover all back orders, but could you get your names down as soon as possible? These powders are decent alternatives for both Varget and 4350. They will only be on the shelf for a while as Viht becomes harder and harder to obtain. Reach compliant and eco-friendly; there is nothing not to like about these new powders. More info can be found here...

25/02/2023 Mark's shoot report at Bisley, shooting me.284 Shehane on Century (at 600 yards with the V Hunters F Class FTR team, mostly consisting of Team GB members past and present. Winds were right to left, and switching between 1-3 moa. After a good craic with the V Hunters, who shot mostly .308s and a very early target rifle (can't remember calibre). Shooting two practice relays 2+10 / 2+15, with scores of 42 1v & 67 3v respectivley. After lunch, we moved on to Stickledown and 1000 yards and a single relay of 2+10, scoring 43 1v, not the greatest score. But excellent company and a good time was had by all. Now to shakedown kit ready for the 1st league shoot in April.....
