Details

The Bowman Supermatch Eight is our most powerful trap and has a throwing distance of 150m paired with our strongest red spring. It’s been in production for 15 years and over that time has been perfected into the trap you see today.

The Supermatch 8 as with all of our products is designed to be user friendly. All adjustments of the trap, including : spring tension, elevation and tilt can be done without the use of spanners using our lever lock system. The electric components are designed to be uncomplicated therefore routine maintenance and repair is simple. The main frame is high tensile cast aluminium making the trap strong and durable. We use only the best quality motor and gearboxes from a manufacturer that we have trusted for 10 years ensuring that your trap stands the test of time.

The Supermatch Eight is very versatile in its ability to present a wide array of targets. Being able to elevate from horizontal to springing teal (75°) and tilt 40°from left to right it can send out beautiful steep curling targets at its extreme.

A great choice for shooting clubs, grounds and simulated game. The combination of the Supermatch 8’s reliability and power make it an ideal choice for towers and creating driven targets. This trap pairs well with our Tilt & Turn, DTL and ABT bases, directly mounted onto a tower or a bowman quad barrow depending on its intended use.

Ten Commandments

Set up your reloading bench where it (and stored components) will not be exposed to heat, sparks or flame.
Establish a comfortable loading procedure and don't vary it.
Keep your reloading bench, equipment and area clean and uncluttered. Label components and reloads for safe, easy identification. Never use powder from an unlabelled tin.
Understand what you are doing and why it must be done in a specific way.
Follow loading recommendations exactly. Don't substitute components for those listed in metallic data without reducing the load and working back up.
Never substitute smokeless powder for black powder or Pyrodex because smokeless powder is much more powerful than black powder. Never mix two powders together.
Wear safety glasses.
Stay alert when reloading. Don't reload when distracted, disoriented or tired.
Don't smoke, drink alcohol or take drugs while reloading or while in your reloading area.
Keep everything out of reach of small children.
