Our Meplat Trimmer Kit is designed to work with your Wilson case trimmer. Everyone who has used the Wilson case trimmer is familiar with its high quality and very precise trimming lengths. Now you can apply this first rate performance to your meplats!
Our kit consists of the tools you need to use your Wilson case trimmer as a meplat trimmer. The bullet is held in the bullet holder in the same way as the Wilson holds a cartridge case. This results in a clean cut on the bullet every time. Other meplat trimmers require you to hold the bullet with your thumb while you trim it. Those who have used these trimmers know about the jagged edge left on the meplat because the cutter can’t make a clean cut.
Another problem that our trimmer overcomes is trimming the bullets to inconsistent lengths. When holding the bullet with your thumb in the other trimmers, how hard you push on the bullet will vary the length you get. One shooter reported to us that he could vary the length of a bullet almost .010” depending on how hard he pushed it into the guide. Come on! If we’re going to uniform something, let’s make them uniform when we’re finished!
Have you considered what may happen if the bullet isn’t held dead straight in the competition’s trimmers? If the bullet isn’t dead straight, the tip gets trimmed at an angle. This creates a situation where the bullet could be out of balance, and remember that we’re going to spin this bullet anywhere from 125,000-300,000 RPM when we shoot it. This can’t help accuracy. Our trimmer holds the bullet in precise alignment with the trimmer so that every cut is absolutely square to the bullet.
Trimming the bullets so that they have a consistent shape is the goal, and our trimmer system is head and shoulders above the competition. We are so confident that our trimmer system will trim your bullets to a more consistent overall length, and do it with less hassle, than any other trimmer, we offer an unconditional satisfaction guarantee. If you don’t agree that this is the best meplat trimmer on the market, just send it back for a full refund.
